e-QuoL Advances European Collaboration within the QoL (AYA) Cluster

How are EU-funded projects working together to improve cancer care and quality of life for adolescents and young adults (AYA)?

The EU Cancer Mission Quality of Life (AYA) Cluster brings together six complementary projects—including e-QuoL, PanCare4AYA, LATE-AYA, PredictAYA, TRANSCEND-XR, and MAYA—addressing different aspects of care, follow-up, survivorship, and quality of life for young people affected by cancer.

Under a newly unveiled visual identity—featuring six interconnected ribbons forming a continuous circle—the cluster symbolises shared responsibility, unity, and an ongoing journey of care for AYA cancer survivors. A new video and brochure now provide a comprehensive overview of this collaborative work, highlighting the projects involved and the value of bringing together expertise from across the European AYA cancer research community.

By exchanging knowledge, aligning communication efforts, and developing co-created digital health solutions, the cluster aims to address late effects, empower survivors, and foster equitable survivorship care across Europe.

e-QuoL Takes the Lead in Cluster Outreach

e-QuoL is stepping up its commitment to the collaboration by taking on the role of new coordinator for the Dissemination and Policy Outreach Working Group for the 2026–2027 period. Our team—represented in cluster activities by Amandine Bertrand, Jelena Roganovic, Yvette Moya-Angeler, and Charlotte Demoor-Goldschmidt—will lead these communication efforts.
The cluster is actively preparing unified communication materials and resources for major international events, including the upcoming PanCare Meeting and the EU Cancer Mission 5-Year Anniversary Event. Looking ahead, partners are also working on joint digital publications to regularly share key achievements, evidence-based care models, and patient-centred innovations across Europe.
Through participatory research, shared dissemination, and innovative e-health solutions, e-QuoL and its cluster partners continue working to ensure that quality of life remains a central priority in European cancer policy.
