
The Centre Léon Bérard (CLB), is a comprehensive cancer centre. The centre’s mission is to offer the highest standard of quality care and innovation to cancer patients. CLB holds 228 beds in conventional hospital care, 34 places in the day clinic and >200 places for home medical care). This care comprises patient diagnosis, treatment, care, rehabilitation, screening and prevention, as well as innovation (with teams dedicated to basic, translational and clinical research) and education with dedicated departments. The CLB is a member of UNICANCER, the Federation of French comprehensive Cancer Centres. Institute of Hematology and Pediatric Oncology (IHOPe) is a consortium between Comprehensive Cancer CLB and University Hospital of Lyon, dedicated of CAYA with cancer. IHOPe coordinates the AURACLE network and is a member of the European consortium Innovative Therapy for Children with Cancer.
CLB is a contributor in the WP2 to the Task 2.1 devoted to the review of the State-of-The-Art specifically of the needs of adolescents and young adults concerning supportive care, quality of life (QoL) and digital tools. The CLB is also task leader in QoL Cluster (WP7, relation with QoL Cluster), and contributor in WP5 and WP6.

Amandine Bertrand-Reynaud
Amandine is a paediatric oncologist at the Institut d’Hématologie et d’Oncologie Pédiatrique (IHOPe, Lyon) and a doctoral candidate at the École Doctorale Interdisciplinaire Sciences-Santé (EDISS), specialising in paediatrics and human and social sciences. As President of the Sud Est IV Ethics Committee, she is involved in the ethical supervision and protection of participants in clinical research.

Magali Girodet
Magali has a doctorate in interdisciplinary public health, focusing on the psychological and psychosocial experiences of prostate cancer patients. She is currently head of the Human and Social Sciences (HSS) and translational research project at the Centre Léon Bérard. She joined the HSS Department at the beginning of 2020 and is responsible for the design, implementation and coordination of cancer research projects. Her work and expertise focus mainly on the experiences of cancer patients and their carers, as well as on sexual health and quality of life issues.
