e-QuoL Begins Filming New Videos for the MyCare App to Support Young Cancer Survivors Across Europe

03/06/2026

Capturing inspiring testimonies and expert insights across France, Finland, and Croatia for new digital resources.

Production has officially started on the final series of educational and testimonial videos for MyCare, the mobile health application developed by the e-QuoL project to improve the quality of life of children, adolescents, and young adults affected by cancer.

These new audiovisual resources will provide practical information, emotional support, and real-life experiences for Child, Adolescent and Young Adult Cancer Survivors (CAYACS), their families, and healthcare professionals involved in long-term survivorship care.

Giving a Voice to Young Cancer Survivors

The video series will feature personal testimonies from cancer survivors, caregivers, and healthcare experts from across Europe. By sharing their experiences, participants will help future users of the MyCare app better understand the physical, emotional, and social challenges that can arise after cancer treatment.

The goal is to create trusted, patient-centred content that complements the digital tools available within MyCare, helping survivors manage their health and wellbeing throughout survivorship.

Filming Across Three European Countries

The cameras started rolling in Angers (France), home to the coordinating institution of the e-QuoL consortium: GCS Hôpitaux Universitaires Grand Ouest (HUGO).

Following the filming sessions in France, the production team will travel to Finland and Croatia to record additional survivor stories and expert interviews, ensuring that the final content reflects the diversity of experiences across Europe.

A New Collaboration with Kryzalid

For this final phase of audiovisual production, e-QuoL is collaborating with Kryzalid, which takes over technical production responsibilities from Resilience.

The partnership will support the creation of high-quality educational videos designed to enhance the user experience within MyCare and strengthen the app’s role as a digital health resource for cancer survivors.
