Ethical and Social Reflection Groups tackle challenges in digital health and equity across Europe

Ethical Reflection Group is an ethics support service, aiming to identify and address potential ethical challenges. This includes implementing a comprehensive, participatory ethical approach, developing and adapting guidelines and policies, offering reflection and resources, and promoting a culture of ethical awareness among all project stakeholders. The goal is to encourage reflection on ethical issues and foster mutual understanding not only among different professional groups and stakeholders, but also between professional perspectives and those of patients and their families. The focus is primarily on supportive and follow up care for CAYACS, the use of digital tools, quality of life, and equity across Europe.

Social Challenge Reflection Group provides in-dept reflection on the social context within the e-QuoL project. This group aims to identify, anticipate and address potential social challenges such as accessibility, inclusivity and stigmatization, affecting minority or vulnerable populations. The group will act as an advocate for the needs of disadvantaged communities. Another key objective is to define how health and social outcomes can be developed collaboratively through co-creation within the digital health ecosystem, which includes digital tools that support healthcare and social well-being. By actively confronting social challenges, this group will promote social acceptance, inclusivity, and equitable distribution of benefits from the e-health tools.

We invite you to join us and share your reflections.
