Since 1996, Epiconcept has been made up of computer scientists, doctors, pharmacists, biologists, epidemiologists and data scientists. Its core business is designing tools and solutions tailored to the public health challenges of today and tomorrow.
As a personal health data host, Epiconcept defines itself as a private company of general interest.
Epiconcept is recognised by the major public health players in France and abroad for its ability to combine medical expertise and technological expertise in the design and monitoring of information systems.
Epiconcept’s expertise is particularly recognised in 3 key areas:
- SARS-Cov-2 (our epidemiologists support the WHO and ECDC in coordinating their projects to measure Vaccine Effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines – VEBIS project)
- prevention and screening programmes (particularly for cancer)
- and information systems for managing population cohorts.
Epiconcept has developed one of the “passport” software tools of the e-Quol project: Logafter.
Our application allows the French patients’ follow-up data, and offers features such as medical history tracking, an algorithm for generating follow-up plans with personalized exams tailored to the patients, and a patient-side access.
Logafter aims to be opened for use by 4 other countries’ healthcare professionals, to contribute to the future care tool that will be developed by the e-Quol project, for the pediatric cancer survivors.
