Assistance Publique-Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) is the largest university hospital network in Europe: it brings together 38 hospitals. APHP has three main missions: health care, medical and paramedical education, and biomedical and clinical research. Within AP-HP, the Directorate of Clinical Research and Innovation (DRCI) coordinates the implementation of the institution’s research and innovation policy. As an important support and expertise structure, the DRCI accompanies AP-HP medical and paramedical researchers in the various stages of development, implementation and valorisation of their research projects, while respecting good clinical practice and patient safety.

In e-QuoL, the AP-HP will coordinate Task 6.1 Monitoring compliance with ethical principles and guidelines in all aspects of e-QuoL.

Didier Bouton

After a PhD in Health and Life Sciences and several years in basic research (Sweden and France), Didier turned his career towards clinical research. He trained and had a short experience in a CRO before joining AP-HP as a project manager. After a few years on national projects, his interest led him to international and EU-funded projects. He developed expertise in regulatory submissions regarding ethics, competent authority and data protection.

Marine Camus

After several years working in research laboratories in France and abroad, managing research activities (e.g. ethics approvals, grant applications) and conducting research, Marine took on the role of project European consortium and was involved in the coordination of a multinational clinical trial. She then decided to dedicate her career to clinical research and joined AP-HP as a Clinical Project Manager. She is responsible for managing the regulatory and contractual aspects of clinical trials sponsored by AP-HP.
