e-QuoL Reaches a Major Milestone: MyCare App Enters Local Testing Phase
30/04/2026
University of Oslo and Epiconcept lead the prototype evaluation of the MyCare app to improve the quality of life of young cancer survivors.
We are excited to share that the MyCare e-QuoL app has officially moved into its local testing phase across all participating countries. This stage, led by the University of Oslo and Epiconcept, focuses on evaluating the prototype’s functionality and user experience.
The app features tailored content, including a comprehensive library of psychosocial support content—such as videos and articles on mental health, fatigue, fertility, and fear of recurrence —co-designed with survivors to ensure it meets the real-world needs of CAYACS.
From Prototype Testing to European Clinical Validation
Looking ahead, e-QuoL is preparing for its next phase: the multi-country clinical study led by Istituto Giannina Gaslini. Expected to launch in mid-May or early June, this study will evaluate the clinical and economic effectiveness of the MyCare tool across nine European sites. This upcoming stage is a vital step toward validating MyCare as a standard digital resource in long-term survivorship care.
